BOOKKEEPER
The main responsibilities are working in a small team to handle financial transactions for the total NCEM organization, including:
- Handling incoming donations from opening mail, determining the donor’s designation, and recording the details in our donation tracking system.
- Bookkeeping for several departments using the QuickBooks accounting system to record income and expense, using both paper-based and electronic methods.
- Being responsive to leadership in departments and collaborating with others to solve problems.
Requirements: This is a ministry position, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is required. Bookkeeping skills are preferred, but we are willing to train. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar small business software is preferred. Related business and/or bookkeeping training are preferred. Organized and self-disciplined. Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Ability to communicate clearly with Leaders in processing and reporting financial details. Familiarity with MS EXCEL, WORD, and TEAMS is preferred. Accepting of other finance related responsibilities as required. This position reports to the CFO.
