Helen is an honorary missionary. She and her late husband, Joe, joined NCEM in the mid-1950s.
They served in several northern Manitoba communities, including Gods Lake Narrows, York Factory, and Shamattawa, followed by Cumberland House, Saskatchewan, and Maskwacis, Alberta.
Bible Education by Extension became a major focus of their ministry.
Helen resides in Rosthern, Saskatchewan.
