introducing our missionaries...
Linsey Blodgett (nee Yanke) served with us as an intern during 2022/23, and is now an accepted candidate for full-time service. Her husband, Jordan, joined as an associate NCEM member in 2024, while continuing his employment in the video industry.
Linsey married Jordan in June 2023, and the couple makes their home in Regina, Saskatchewan. Linsey stays busy with Tribal Trails “Generation Hope” video production (media geared for First Nations youth), plus print media design work for NCEM.
Linsey grew up in a Christian household, and when she was seven years old their family started fostering children. Because of this, her love for people grew. This also grew her desire to work with First Nations people, as that was the nationality of many children in foster care.
Linsey walked away from the Lord through her teen and early adult life. She moved to Regina and started working on her Indigenous Social Work degree. Because of a bad relationship, she never did end up finishing this degree, but it didn’t change her desire to help people.
A few years later, she started coming back to her faith and putting her trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She started a youth group in Canora, Saskatchewan, and in March of 2018, their group attended a weekend youth retreat at Nipawin Bible College.
There the Lord placed on her heart that she needed to attend Bible school, so she went to Millar College of the Bible the following fall. It was there, during the school’s missions conference, that she first heard of NCEM as a mission.
It wasn’t until the winter of 2021 that she started thinking seriously about going into missions and exploring what that may look like.
