Consider serving on a short-term special assignment
Possibilities include: assisting resident missionaries with a construction project, cooking for a Bible camp, missionary staff retreat, or ministry event … and more.
Most of the skills in technical trades related to building, equipment and vehicle maintenance can be put to use on our fields or in our ministry departments.
So, if you prefer serving behind-the-scenes in these ways, let us know!
There are also occasions where these projects can be completed in conjunction with “people-related” spiritual ministries.
The duration of this type of short-term service will vary depending on the task, from several days to several months.
(Those involved in “special assignment” technical work are usually not required to go through NCEM’s normal application process.)
